24 KV Metal Clad Cubicle is an indoor, metal-clad switchgear unit intended for the MV section of HV/MV subtations and high power MV/MV substations. 24 KV Metal Clad Cubicle adapts to all electrical power distribution requirements from 1 to 17,5 kV.

24 KV Metal Clad Cubicle switchboards are made up of several interconnected functional units. Power connections are made between functional units within a switchboard via a single busbar. The electrical continuity of all metal frames is provided by the connection of each functional unit's earthing busbar to the switchboard's main earthing circuit. Low voltage wiring trays are provided in the switchboard above the low voltage control cabinets. LV cables can enter the switchboard through the top or bottom of each functional unit. A functional unit comprises all equipment in the main and auxiliary circuits which together provide a protection function. Each functional unit combines all the components which are required to fulfill this function: The cubicle, the protection, monitoring and control system and the withdrawable part.

36 KV Metal Clad Cubicle is metal-enclosed switchgear with withdrawable units designed for indoor installation. It is designed for the MV section of HV/MV substations and high-power MV/MV substations. 36 KV Metal Clad Cubicle is suitable for all electrical power distribution requirements from 1 to 40,5 kV.

36 KV Metal Clad Cubicle switchboards are made up of several interconnected functional units. A single busbar is used to connect the power between functional units within a switchboard. The permanent electrical continuity of all the metal frames is provided by connecting the earthing busbar of each functional unit to the main earthning circuit of the switchborad. Low voltage wiring trays run across the switchboard above the LV compartments. LV cables can enter the switchboard through the top or bottom of each functional unit.

A functional unit comprises all the protective main and auxiliary circuit equipment. Each functional unit combines all the components required to fulfill its function: The cubicle, the protection, monitoring and control system and the withdrawable part.

36 KV Metal Enclosed Cubicle Modular Units

36 KV Metal Enclosed Cubicle units are used for the MV section in MV/LV transformer substations in public distribution system and MV consumer or distribution substations from 10 kV to 36 kV.

36 KV Metal Enclosed Cubicle units are designed for indoor installations(IP3X).

Their compact dimensions are:

. 750 mm to 1500 mm width

. 2250 mm height

. 1400 mm depth

That makes for easy installation in small rooms or prefabricated substations. Cables are connected via the front.

All control functions are centralised on a front plate, thus simplifying operation. The units may be equipped with a number of accessories (relays, toroids, instrument transformers, low power current transformers (with Sepam only) , surge arrester, telecontrol, etc.)
